We provide detailed instructions on how to transport and store your custom cake to ensure it stays fresh and intact. Cakes are typically transported in sturdy boxes or containers. We recommend keeping the cake in a cool, air-conditioned environment or refrigerating it if it has perishable fillings. Most often we are booked full weekly and monthly. From time to time, we can accommodate a “rush” order. A rush order is any order placed with less than 14-day notice. Rush orders may be subject to an additional surcharge of 35%, not to exceed 50% of the cake total. Toya Treats & Custom Cakes reserves the right to initiate this surcharge at their discretion.

To place an order, customers are required to fill out an order/interest form. On this form you must indicate as many details as possible to receive a customized cake/treat quote. Once you acknowledge/accept the quote via email or text the billing invoice will be sent to your email of choice or the email on your order form, to pay your retainer. Retainer payments are due immediately, not to exceed 24 hours to confirm and hold your calendar date. We do not guarantee dates without a retainer. Only PAID invoices will hold a date. After 24 hours, unpaid invoices are canceled. In some circumstances, retainer invoices are due by the end of business days. All canceled invoices may be subject to a re-issuance fee of 10%. After the second invoice, customers will not be allowed to place an order for the current event.

Yes, we do offer local and long distance delivery and set up services for a fee. Delivery amounts are based on distance from our location in Brandon, MS. Delivery cost starts at $50 and up.

To secure your desired date, we recommend placing your custom cake order at least 2-4 weeks in advance. A deposit of 50% of the total cake price is required upon booking, with the remaining balance due one week before the event date.

Our cancellation policy is as follows: Cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the event date are eligible for a transfer of the service to a future date, subject to availability. This means that if you need to reschedule your event, you can transfer the payment made for the original order to the new scheduled date within 4-6 weeks. Cancellations made within 6 days or less of the event date are not eligible for a refund or service transfer, as the cake would have already been in production, and it may not be possible to accommodate other orders at such short notice. We strive to be understanding and flexible in all situations, and we will do our best to work with you to find a suitable solution. Prices for our custom cakes will be provided upon inquiry and are subject to change. Full payment is required at the time of ordering, and we accept various payment methods. All payments are non-refundable once the order has been confirmed.

Any changes or cancellations to an order must be communicated to us as soon as possible. While we will do our best to accommodate changes, they are subject to our availability and may incur additional charges.

We offer delivery services to your event or right to your front door. Delivery is an additional fee that is not included in the price of your order. Please be mindful to be present during your scheduled delivery time or additional fees may occur. When placing your order, please be sure to set a delivery time and we will confirm that time with you. No delivery time is set until we confirm it. If any changes in delivery time should be made, please contact us as soon as possible. We are not obligated to wait on your arrival if no one is present to receive your order. There will be a 15 minute grace period for someone’s arrival to pick up the cake. If no one is present within that grace period we will return the cake back to our location and it will have to be picked up at our discretion. Alternatively, you may choose to pick up your cake from our location at a designated time. The customer is responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the cake at the specified delivery or pickup time.

While every effort is made to replicate the design and colors provided or discussed, slight variations may occur due to the handcrafted nature of our cakes. We are not responsible for any changes in appearance due to factors beyond our control, such as environmental conditions or transportation.
